Many of you have asked me how to use watercolor pencils. The is an excellent tutorial. This is also a great way to sketch or "paint" when you travel or are on vacation. ( By the way Crayola and Rose Art are two good brands for kids to use. The colors are bright and the leads are smooth, but don't break easily.)

Here is one of my doodles that I started during a Dr. visit. You are welcome to copy and color it. Can you see the butterflies ? Every time I go to the doctor's office I get "butterflies in my stomach". So, it helps me to draw. If you are a young person or an older folk, (Like me) try doodling.

One of My Best Art Students EVER !!!

In June I had the honor of teaching this young woman how to paint her first ever painting. She has written about it on her blog. And I must say she was easy to teach even though she chose a very challenging subject ! She was also very gracious to yours truly . Yes Elisabeth, I do love your painting and I get very excited teaching people to love art. Keep drawing and painting. !!!!
